The Hlayisekani Old Age Home and the Khumba Ncila Animal Welfare Clinic in Mkhuhlu, Mpumalanga, underwent significant improvements to their facilities, thanks to a partnership between Cashbuild and Savanna Trust.
The Hlayisekani Old Age Home faced considerable challenges in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly as it serves as the sole provider of care for the elderly in a vast region. Meanwhile, the Khumba Ncila Animal Welfare Clinic plays a vital role in offering veterinary services to the local community for both their livestock and pets.
The Hlayisekani Old Age Home underwent extensive renovations, while the Khumba Ncila Animal Welfare Clinic received essential fencing for designated areas within their premises, along with a newly constructed guard room.
