A sense of community
At the core of Art-at-Heart lies three fundamentals of community, to which Cashbuild subscribes;
- A sense of community is the lifeblood of any organisation/community/country
- Having a home/shelter is the right of any human being and largely determines a sense of pride and value in each community
- Education provides one of the most important foundational tools for the future of any human being/community/country
Both Cashbuild’s vision and mission statement clearly indicate that Cashbuild;-
- aims to supply quality, affordable building material to Southern Africa; and
- is committed to making a difference to every community in which it trades
The Art-at-Heart Community Project, provides a medium from which to address all three fundamental principles and to fulfil Cashbuild’s vision and mission statement.
